The company also highlighted production gains in upstream projects and its acquisition of a 49 % stake in AI firm HUMAIN.
In Riyadh, Saudi Aramco said on Tuesday that its adjusted net income for the third quarter of 2026 increased 9 percent year‑on‑year to US$31.2 billion, as reported by Xinhua.
The energy giant also reported that cash flow from operating activities rose to US$38.7 billion, up from US$36.1 billion a year earlier, and free cash flow climbed to US$28.2 billion from US$23.6 billion in the prior year.
Aramco’s downstream adjusted earnings before interest and taxes surged 234 percent, driven by higher refining margins. On the upstream side, production had begun at the Zuluf crude oil increment, while other major projects—including Jafurah phase two, the Fadhili Gas Plant expansion and the Dammam development—remained on schedule.
The company noted that its East‑West pipeline continued to provide export flexibility and that it was exploring additional overseas storage capacity and alternative export routes to strengthen its global supply network.
Aramco also announced the acquisition of a 49‑percent stake in AI firm HUMAIN, involving a transfer of assets and roughly US$2.6 billion in cash contributions, to broaden its presence in the artificial intelligence sector.
Aramco President and CEO Amin H. Nasser said the company’s operational flexibility and resilience helped it maintain supply stability amid heightened geopolitical uncertainty and attacks on key energy facilities in the third quarter.
“Geopolitical uncertainty and attacks on key energy facilities had intensified pressure on global energy supplies during the third quarter, while the company’s operational flexibility and supply network had enabled it to continue meeting customer demand,” said Nasser.
