Selena Gomez is being sued by five investors in her mental‑health company, Wondermind Global.

The Hollywood actress and pop star founded the company with her mother five years ago, but the investors now claim that Gomez’s “abject dereliction of duties” left the company in a state of financial difficulty.

The lawsuit seeks to recover approximately $1.2 million ($890,000) that the investors claim was invested, plus additional costs and damages.

BBC has contacted Wondermind and Gomez’s representatives for comment.
