Justin Bieber joins famed lineup for FIFA 2026 half‑time show

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber will light up the first Super‑Bowl‑style halftime performance of the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for July 19 in New York City.
He is set to share the stage with international icons Madonna, Shakira, the K‑pop group BTS and other acts, including Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus, Coldplay and Sesame Street muppets.
The 11‑minute set aims to raise funds for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which seeks $100 million for children worldwide.
Bieber said the tournament “brings the world together in a way nothing else can”, echoing the festival's unifying theme.
With the tournament still in its early rounds, eight teams remain as quarter‑finals begin later this week, with Argentina’s Lionel Messi leading the scoring charts.
